Changelog

What changed, and when

Written by the people who made the change. Fixes are listed with the same weight as features, because a fix is usually what someone was waiting for.

Version 1.4

July 16, 2026

Subscription-creep detection

  • Plus and Pro now flag when a recurring charge rises, comparing the recent amount to what it used to be, and tell you how much more that is a year if it stays.
  • Subscriptions are sorted with the ones creeping up first, so the thing worth cancelling is at the top.
  • Fixed a case where a merchant that changed its billing descriptor was read as two separate subscriptions.

Version 1.3

June 3, 2026

A longer forecast, and an honest band

  • Plus now forecasts six weeks ahead and Pro reaches twelve. The confidence range widens the further out it looks, because it should.
  • The forecast chart now marks the tight week and the overdraft point directly on the line, so the day to watch is visible without reading the warnings list.
  • Every warning now carries the date it bites and a plain-language explanation written by the language layer, grounded in the computed numbers.

Version 1.2

April 21, 2026

CSV import and off-pattern flags

  • Upload a CSV exported from your bank. Tellwise reads the dozen ways banks format dates and amounts, including parenthesised and trailing-DR debits.
  • Added off-pattern spending flags: a charge well outside your normal range gets surfaced in case it was a mistake.
  • Added the sample-data path so you can see a full forecast before adding anything of your own.
